What is the advantage of shorts?
Shorts are one of the most practical Summer pieces, especially for weekends and vacation.
Why?
Because they are stylish, easy to wear and comfortable!
Besides, they look amazing in any occasion: the beach/pool, day-to-day or going out at night.
That’s why they’re one of my favorite pieces for Summer.
The most trendy shorts are denim shorts or shorts in a soft fabric. They both look great, but denim shorts are more versatile because, just like denim pants, they go well with everything!
This year there are lots of short shorts in stores but you can also find medium or knee-length shorts, which also look great.
The only thing you need to worry about is the length of your tops: they can’t be too long or they can cover your shorts (a solution is tucking in just the front of the top). A trendy option is wearing short large tops, one of this season’s trend.
And to prepare your legs you can use self-tanning or tinted products.
If you think that can’t wear shorts because of your weight or legs, read this article.
Shorts are also great for the mid-season, just substitute your sandals for ankle boots (or pumps), as you can see in the pics below.
Here are 6 Ways to wear Shorts
With a Blouse
Sleeveless, short sleeve or long sleeve, combine with sandals (flat or high-heel) in Summer and ankle boots in the mid-season.
With a Shirt
White is a classic and you can wear it tucked in or out.
With a T-Shirt or Tank
A more casual look, great for going to the beach or the weekends.
With a T-Shirt + A Vest, Blazer or Open Shirt
This creates a more unique and/or sophisticated look.
With a Knit
This is a great look for the mid-season and also for colder summer days (or nights).
Most Trendy: With an equal top or jacket
