Do you want to feel alive and energetic?

For a long time I felt that my energy was low.

Then I began to understand why, bit by bit.

One important reason was I had no boundaries. For me, everyone else was first. I didn’t know how to say no.

And when I said it, I felt guilty. You know?

You say you don’t want to do things and then you feel super bad because you have disappointed someone, or you’re afraid they’re upset with you, or …

Now I know this doesn’t make any sense.

Because the more we take care of ourselves, the more we are taking care of everyone around us and of our relationship with them.

If we don’t tell people around us, what we need, our preferences, what we’re not ok with, how can they know us?

Are we being authentic?

We’re not.

Saying can not be hard at first, but when you know that you have to take care of yourself first, in order to give it to others, it becomes easy.

And good :)

Another reason was my personal relationships. Discussions, critiques, negative phrases, all of that puts us down. The closer the person is to us, the better we should get along, or soon enough we feel exhausted.

Now I put the quality of my closest relationships first, knowing how to solve issues, knowing how to communicate so that I can feel good and be in a harmonious environment.

It helps to know:

  • that people are often mirrors, which show us what we think of ourselves (but this doesn’t mean they can be disrespectful or treat us badly)
  • that we can’t solve problems in the middle of an argument, first we need to calm down
  • above everything else, that we can just walk away (go somewhere else, go for a walk ;), or even abandon a toxic/negative relationship

How to Have More Energy

I thought that in order to have more energy, I needed to eat better, exercise, sleep well, etc. All of this helps of course, and it’s important.

But we also need to save our energy – stop spending it on things we don’t want to do (for example).

And take care of it – don’t waste it on stupid arguments (for example).

Being in a harmonious environment is very important.

P.S. Another way to save your energy is avoiding making too many decisions. Because decisions take energy and time.

That’s why having a type of “uniform”, but CUTE, for each season, is a great solution. I usually have some Season’s “uniforms” which I wear all the time. Sometimes I feel a bit bad about it because I think I need to be more original. But I also realised that it’s easy to change it up a bit, with a few tricks.

So I get ready super fast in the morning. And I always like to see myself in the mirror.
