A perfect day will be a day where you realize that you’ve done things you love to do.
That the whole day was packed with things you love to do!
How can you make every day a good day?
Sometimes it’s as easy as seeing things differently.
With thinking: I get to do this instead of I have to do this …
Lately I haven’t been to Lisbon so much, so I spend less time with my children, on those trips that used to seem endless for me … and now of course I’m starting to miss those trips, because they were times when I was with my kids.
The phrase: We only value what we have when we don’t have it anymore – it’s 100% true.
Every time I thought I was going to sell my house in Alcochete, I started thinking about the things I was going to miss. I would start to notice the good things about the house.
But we usually only notice what we don’t like, what annoys us, and we see each day as a series of obligations rather than a series of gifts that we can enjoy.
It’s been quite easy for me to create happier days. And make every day a happy one.
It was as easy as coming home the other day and dancing and listening to music, instead of starting to think about problems to solve.
It’s as easy as noticing that writing these posts is something that makes me happy, and I’m very lucky to be able to do this. Instead of thinking I have to go write my post now.
It’s as easy as seeing each moment as a good and unique thing instead of another task on our to do list.
I love this Einstein phrase:
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
Which do you think will make you happier?
It’s all a choice.
You can choose how you’ll view each day and each moment.
You can choose to look at the good things in your work rather than the bad ones.
You can see each day as a gift and make the most of each day.
Or you may think it’s all boring, nothing makes sense and there you go to your usual little life.
Which one do you prefer?
If you want each day to be a perfect day for you, there is only one answer!
See everything as a miracle :)
P.S. This applies to fashion and style too, as everything does ;) How do you see getting dressed in the morning? As a boring, exhausting something you have to do again? Or as an opportunity to be creative, to look and feel amazing?
Getting dressed can be one of the best parts of your day, it can and should be part of your perfect day ;)
