Love All Your Feelings (and Be Free)

Today I want to tell you about loving all your feelings. It’s not easy to have some feelings. Some feelings just feel like too much. And so we run away from them. We can run away and eat or drink, exercise, work. Anything that will distract us from the feelings. Why? Maybe because when we were kids we couldn’t deal with those intense feelings, and it became a habit. Maybe because now we don’t want to feel bad so we try to numb it out and feel something different. The problem is that, when the feeling is there, it won’t go away, until you acknowledge it. You can try to do something else, you can get distracted for some time.
